Dr Singh completed his undergraduate Medical Degree at the University of Cape Town. He then completed his internship and community service at Addington and St Andews hospitals respectively. Dr Singh during his fellowship, gained exposure to both primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement procedures. During the same year, Dr Singh did more than 20 local and international visits in order to refine his skills through interaction with leaders the field.

He presented original work on podiums locally and internationally and also published in the South African Orthopaedic Journal. Dr Singh was involved in over 200 joint replacement surgeries during his fellowship. Besides hip and knee surgery Dr Singh also has a special interest in paediatric orthopaedic conditions and trauma related injuries.
